Killer App

I am sure a few of you have heard of this term. It has been used to describe the success of XP, the fail of Vista, the future success stories and fail stories.
So what is a Killer App? It is a "thing" that makes this forum impossible to emulate, it brings demand and we bring it supply.
Just like in XP, bringing together compatability from NT and functionality from 2000 to make itself the killer app for being the only OS to do both.
Let's face it, the only way to get out of the shadow of say, BSBG, which we know most people hate here for inexplicable reasons, it is better than us. It has Sai, who is in demand for his hairs and weapons. He is technically their killer app. He brings something that we cannot replace here.
When MCT was created, they could not compete with Sai's requests or current gallery. The fact is, they will most likely always be overshadowed. They are specializing in a field that has already been dominated by BSBG.
So I guess my main purpose is, what is this forum about? What is going to be our killer app that will bring people here? What is our defining characteristic?
Think about this and send a response back of how you are going to bring about the success of the forum.

People will not stay here without a killer app or they will stay at both places and probably spend more time at the other that does have the killer app. And you have no reputation. I just heard of you today..

Look, it is basic economics. You have nothing to supply, hence you get no demand.

I don't really care about prevailing over any other community, the forum is just a place for people to hang out and share their interests, make friends, and expand upon. I'm not trying to out-do anyone with this forum. .D.

Well, you are already in discussion of a request section... If this was a true hang out, why are people doing work constantly?

Work can sometimes be fun, and that might be someone's interest; doing requests for other people.

I agree. Some people actually enjoy making requests. When they run out of things to make out of their own interest, sometimes they like making stuff for other people. So basically this place has no real focus..?
Like MTV focused more on Youtube animations (now GFX) and MCT is customs and BSBG was Maps.. But this place has none?

The focus of talk could be expanded upon. I mean, like I said, those people flocked to those places because they could talk about that precise area.

No, the forum's objective is about whatever the community wants it to be. That is to say, we have an infinite amount of purposes, not only limited to 1 or 2. I'm pretty sure the community knows what they like doing, and based on their suggestions we'll accommodate accordingly as long as it isn't too far-fetched.

Is that a serious suggestion? Because that sounds cool, although I barely know any coders here. If you can provide easy-to-understand-and-follow tuts for whoever might be interested i'll consider it.
